Great time and amazing performance
If you have not attended this concert and do not appreciate the Ouroboros album in its entirety, then you will probably be disappointed. I am guessing that almost all of the people who were disappointed never actually listened or purchased Queen’s two prior to albums (Supernova and Ouroboros). Queen is evolving – stay home if you don’t like his new music rather than complain about it being a huge disappointment. If you have listened to the album, then you should know what to expect at this concert, including that he will play Ouroboros in its entirety. Nothing about the songs he sings should be a surprise. This is the “Ouroboros Tour 2026,” not a greatest hits tour. I have been a fan since 2008, and although I love his newer music, I also really dig his older stuff, and I was not disappointed for any of the reasons that other “fans” have listed for their disappointment.
He opened with four acoustic songs. Overall, eight songs of his entire set, including the opening and encore, were new (the entire Ouroboros album), four songs were from Trouble, one song was from God Willin’, and five songs were from Supernova. I think it is funny some people are complaining that he didn’t sing this song or that song – his library of songs is getting longer (59 total from 6 albums), so the probability that he is going to sing the one or two songs you really want to hear from his older albums is pretty slim. As a longtime fan, I wasn't disappointed he did not sing my favorite older songs. He started 20 minutes past the stated start time of 7:30, not 40 minutes (as stated in another review for Minneapolis).
It was an incredibly fun night listening to a great, talented man.
